Meet Dr. Michael Zhang, DMD

Dr. Zhang is a native of Orange County. He attended UCLA, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology, then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dentistry. Since then, he has continued to sharpen his skills through extensive continuing education and training in soft tissue laser dentistry, rotary endodontics, and orthodontics.
Outside the office, Dr. Zhang is married to his wife, Ashley, and together with their daughter Ella they are raising a young, growing family. When he is not with his family, you will find him reading, playing basketball, snowboarding, working out, or hanging out with friends.

Christie
Office Manager
Christie's journey in dentistry spans over 50 years, starting when she graduated from Lawton Dental Assistant College in Santa Ana in 1969. She has been with Dr. Zhang since 2004, welcoming patients, helping them feel comfortable, and answering questions about treatment. Away from the office, she and her husband of 50 years enjoy time with their two Australian Shepherds.
Rachel
Dental Hygienist
Rachel earned her bachelor's degree from Loma Linda University in 2011 and joined the practice in 2017. She handles cleanings, X-rays, periodontal charting, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene instruction, and she loves helping patients understand how oral health connects to overall health. Off the clock, she is on a mission to visit every national park.
Jessica
Dental Assistant
Speaks SpanishJessica has worked in dentistry since 2001 and joined Dr. Zhang's team in 2019. She provides chairside assistance during procedures, takes X-rays and impressions, and helps patients sort out insurance questions. A mom of five, she spends her free time cheering her kids on at their sporting events.

Our team communicates with patients in English, Mandarin (Dr. Zhang), and Spanish (Jessica), so you can talk through your care in the language you are most comfortable with.
